Built For Problems That Actually Matter

TrashDay wasn’t built from a pitch deck. It was built from missed pickups, angry phone calls, and hours wasted turning trucks around.

I Spent Years on the Route.

Before TrashDay, I worked in the waste industry driving the routes and dealing with the realities of service days that didn’t go as planned.

Missed pickups weren’t rare. They were normal.

Customers didn’t know when service was happening or forgot to put their trash out. Phones rang nonstop. Drivers backtracked. Fuel was wasted.

Payments only made it worse. Checks were “sent” but never arrived. Accounts were blocked over payment issues. (Sometimes incorrectly.) Stops were skipped, then had to be redone. More calls. More confusion. More wasted time.

Nobody was happy.

Later, when I moved into tech, I looked back at the waste industry and saw the same problems everywhere — just wrapped in expensive, overbuilt software that independent haulers couldn’t justify or didn’t want.

Spreadsheets, whiteboards, phone calls, and “we’ll fix it tomorrow” were still the norm.

That’s when TrashDay started to take shape.

Our Mission

The Tool I Wish I Had.

TrashDay was built to solve the problems that actually break operations, not to look impressive in a demo.

It focuses on two things first:

  • Clear, reliable communication
  • Simple, automated payments

Because when customers know what’s happening, and paying is effortless, then everything else runs smoother.

Routes stabilize. Complaints drop. Drivers stop going back out.

No bloated enterprise features. No software you need training manuals for. Just the tools needed to silence the phone and get paid on time.

Why We’re Different

Most software in this industry tries to tell you how to run your routes.

TrashDay focuses on something simpler and more important:

Preventing the mistakes that force you to run them twice.

Core Values

What Drives Us

Driver First.

We don't build features that look cool. We build features that save drivers time, fuel, and frustration.

Keep It Simple.

If you need an IT degree to use it, we failed. TrashDayOS is built for the person answering the phone and the person behind the wheel.

Independent Haulers First.

TrashDay is for family-owned companies, local fleets, and regional operators... not massive corporations with custom software teams.
